Library Services & Resources

PMSU students will consult various categories of literature including but not limited to  seminal works, theoretical articles, peer review and scholarly journals, articles written
about issues and debates, key findings, and research designs. The following academic databases and search engines will be available at PMSU ebrary. The search engines and databases include SAGE, EBSCOhost, ProQuest, Business Source Complete, RefWorks, IEEE Xplore, ScienceDirect, and SpringerLink. We will encourage students to use Google Scholar and Google Books.

Key Terms

The writing of key terms or words such as theory, project management theory, project society, projectification or project, globalization, programification or program, project portfolio, and project-based organization in these search engines generated contemporary peer-reviewed journals that shed light on theory development including its four theoretical criteria and those of the virtues of good theory. Other search terms included the International Project Management Association, Project Management Institute, Association for Project Management, French Project Management Association, Prince2, PMBOK, international projects, complex projects, and megaprojects.

PMSU requires student and affiliate research candidates or institutions to use web-based and onsite surveys, interviews, documentations, archives, policy papers and annual reports. The student research study will gather data from PM, program, business and information technology practitioners and project management, business, program industries.
