Degree Program
PMSU Master’s degree programs offer postgraduate degrees in project management and program management.
Requirement. Students who have acquired a bachelor’s degree or equivalent from any recognized university or college and passed the Business Management Aptitude Exams (GMAT or Graduate Record Examination (GRE). GMAT or GRE is a multiple-choice, computer-based, standardized exam that is often required for admission to graduate programs and graduate business programs (MBA) globally.
Master Degree Program Terminal Course Objectives, Themes, and Modules
First Year Module 1: Insights into project and program fundamental principles, concepts, and contexts
Theme: Insights into project and program fundamental principles, concepts, and contexts. Description: Students will explore the core concepts, emerging theories, and science of project and program management.
First Year Module 2 : People and Behavior in Projects
This module equips students with soft skills and the principles underlying behavior at the individual, team, and organizational levels.
First Year Module 3: Project and Program Planning and Control
The module gives students the tools to track and control the performance of project and programs.
First Year Module 4: Project Leadership and Governance
4 raises awareness of the importance of effective leadership, having clear
roles, responsibilities, and proper governance structures in place.
First Year Module 5: Program Value, Risk and Decision Making
Introduces the foundation concepts, and
process framework used to develop business models and value solutions through
projects and programs.
First Year Module 6: In-Company Projects
Second Year Module 7: Strategic Management and Programs
The module provides a critical overview of corporate strategy and strategy implementation with a focus on program management competence.
Second Year Module 8: Knowledge and Information Management
This module provides an understanding
of the role of education, information, and technology in organizations, with a
focus on projects and programs.
Second Year Module 9: Commercial Management of Project
This module introduces the features of commercial and contract management and positions it within the context of managing projects
Second Year Module 10: International Project Management
This module addresses the challenges of
global projects, including leading, communicating, and collaborating with
virtual teams with diverse cultural backgrounds.
Second Year Module 11: Research in Projects and Organizations
The module explains various research methods and how they apply to investigate industry-related problems and phenomena, with emphasis on the management of projects and programs.
Second Year Module 12: Research Paper
Module twelve provides an opportunity to explore an aspect of project or program management in depth by engaging in esearch study project and conducting an empirical study into issues and phenomena that arise on projects.
MBA/PMP/ MPgM Degree Program Requirements
To receive a master’s degree at PMSU, students are required to successfully complete 48 semester credit, six core or concentration courses, 15 program-specific courses, two elective courses, and obtain a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.00 in the courses indicated above. Total program length varies based on the number of courses taken per eight-week session. Transfer credit and a waiver or an exemption will be handled individually.
The concentration coursework is designed to further focus your MBA/PMP/MPgMP curriculum to better prepare students for success in a specific field or industry. To add a concentration to specific degree program, students may choose courses totaling 12 credit hours from the following list:

Certification Program
The cost of a project, program, and information technology certification examination is a little expensive for many but is a worthy investment and not an expense. The cost of each certificate course varies according to the region where you will take the examination. The cost of the PMP exam for Project Management Institute (PMI) member and nonmember is $405 and $555 members, respectively. Before registering for any certification course, please ask the Certification Program Coordinator about the costs relating to registering and taking the exam. Who can enroll: high school graduate or above will be eligible to apply for any certification except when work experience is required for enrollment.
